Instructions for use:
- Before use, soak the wooden butter model in cold water for about 15 to 20 minutes. This will hydrate the wood and the butter will come out of the mold more easily later.
- Remove the butter mold from the water and pat dry with a clean towel or paper towel.
- Allow the butter to soften to room temperature by leaving it on the counter for a few minutes or heating it briefly in the microwave on low power.
- Gently press the softened butter into the butter mold. Be careful not to overfill the model so that the shape of the butter is clearly visible.
- Use a spatula or knife to scrape off the excess butter from the top of the butter model.
- Place the butter model in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to allow the butter to harden and keep its shape.
- Once the butter has set, take the butter model out of the fridge and dip it in warm water for a few seconds. This will loosen the butter slightly and make it easy to remove from the mold.
- Gently tap the butter model to loosen the butter and place it on a plate or butter dish.
- Use the butter as desired.
- Clean the butter mold thoroughly after each use with warm water and a mild detergent. Allow it to dry completely before using or storing it again.

Never clean wooden products in the dishwasher. The combination of heat, moisture, and detergents can permanently damage the wood. Instead, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and a little mild dish soap. Dry thoroughly with a clean towel immediately afterward.
Drying
Do not leave wooden products wet or place them on a heat source. Always let them air dry while standing upright. This helps prevent warping or cracking.
Oiling
To keep the surface smooth and resilient, we recommend treating the wood regularly with a natural oil – such as cold-pressed linseed oil. The oil protects against moisture, enhances the wood grain, and gives it a warm appearance.
Apply the oil sparingly to the clean, dry surface using a soft cloth. Wipe off any excess after about 15 minutes and allow it to dry completely – ideally overnight.
