Depending on the item, sheet material is available in different wood species such as oak, Swiss pine (Zirbe), walnut, beech, ash, cherry, and larch. The exact wood species is always stated on the product page.

Many laser-ready veneer panels are offered as 5 mm panels with an MDF core. Additionally, there are thin veneer sheets (e.g., 0.7 mm) for delicate laser projects (depending on the product selection).

Many panels offer standard sizes such as 300 × 200 mm, 400 × 300 mm, 600 × 400 mm, 1000 × 600 mm, or 1200 × 600 mm. Tolerances of approx. ±2 mm are common (product-dependent—please check the specific product details).

“Raw” is great if you plan to finish the piece afterwards (oil, varnish, paint). “Oiled” immediately enhances grain and color—ideal when you want that finished look right away. Choosing the right surface depends on your project and intended use.

An MDF core often helps the panel stay flat and consistent. That supports precise cutting and fine engraving because focus and thickness remain stable across the surface.

A/B indicates surface quality: the front side (A) is typically smoother and visually higher-grade, while the back side (B) may show slight variations. For visible projects, the A side is usually preferred as the front.
