Farm-Themed Kids Breakfast Board – Colorable Animal Scene

This kids breakfast board is made from FSC®-certified alder wood and carefully crafted from a single solid piece – no glue, no toxins. It measures approximately 22.5 x 12.5 x 1.2 cm and is perfect for young animal lovers.

The farm scene is engraved using pure heat and features adorable animals such as a cow, horse, sheep, pig, duck and rooster. No inks or chemicals are used in the process. Kids can color the motif using common crayons or markers – we recommend DIN EN 71-certified art supplies for safety.

To preserve their masterpiece, the surface can be sealed with linseed or walnut oil. Whether colored or left natural, this board is a fun, creative and eco-friendly gift idea for children.

Care instructions

To ensure the longevity of your chopping board, we recommend regular care. Clean it after use with warm water and mild washing-up liquid. Avoid soaking and dry the board immediately. Occasional treatment with cooking oil keeps the wood supple and protects it from drying out.

Care Instructions for Wooden Products

To ensure lasting enjoyment of our high-quality wooden items, we recommend regular and gentle care. Wood is a natural material – each piece is unique – and deserves special attention in daily use.

Cleaning

Never clean wooden products in the dishwasher. The combination of heat, moisture, and detergents can permanently damage the wood. Instead, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and a little mild dish soap. Dry thoroughly with a clean towel immediately afterward.

Drying

Do not leave wooden products wet or place them on a heat source. Always let them air dry while standing upright. This helps prevent warping or cracking.

Oiling

To keep the surface smooth and resilient, we recommend treating the wood regularly with a natural oil – such as cold-pressed linseed oil. The oil protects against moisture, enhances the wood grain, and gives it a warm appearance.

Apply the oil sparingly to the clean, dry surface using a soft cloth. Wipe off any excess after about 15 minutes and allow it to dry completely – ideally overnight.

Important Notes

Avoid soaking in water for extended periods.
Keep away from direct heat or sunlight.
Oiled wood may darken slightly over time – this is a natural process.
