Pizza or tarte flambée board made of oak
With a thickness of 5 mm and a beveled edge, our extra-thin pizza or tarte flambée board is perfect for removing any pizza or tarte flambée cleanly and easily from the pizza stone. With a size of 45 x 32 x 0.4 cm, the board offers enough space to handle even larger pizzas comfortably and safely.
The board is made of FSC® oak with a robust MDF core and is particularly hard-wearing. The surface is food-safe and ensures that your pizzas or tarte flambée can always be prepared hygienically and safely. The board is produced by us in Hersbruck to ensure the highest quality and best craftsmanship.
Please note that the board is not suitable for the dishwasher or prolonged soaking due to the MDF core. We recommend that you only rinse the board briefly and then dry it immediately to ensure a long service life. We also do not recommend cutting on the board as the thin veneer layer should not be cut through.
Other sizes, shapes or laser cuts are also available on request to create your individual pizza or tarte flambée board.

Care Instructions for Wooden Products
To ensure lasting enjoyment of our high-quality wooden items, we recommend regular and gentle care. Wood is a natural material – each piece is unique – and deserves special attention in daily use.
Cleaning
Never clean wooden products in the dishwasher. The combination of heat, moisture, and detergents can permanently damage the wood. Instead, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and a little mild dish soap. Dry thoroughly with a clean towel immediately afterward.
Drying
Do not leave wooden products wet or place them on a heat source. Always let them air dry while standing upright. This helps prevent warping or cracking.
Oiling
To keep the surface smooth and resilient, we recommend treating the wood regularly with a natural oil – such as cold-pressed linseed oil. The oil protects against moisture, enhances the wood grain, and gives it a warm appearance.
Apply the oil sparingly to the clean, dry surface using a soft cloth. Wipe off any excess after about 15 minutes and allow it to dry completely – ideally overnight.
Important Notes
- Avoid soaking in water for extended periods.
- Keep away from direct heat or sunlight.
- Oiled wood may darken slightly over time – this is a natural process.
