Our wooden toothbrushes are made from waxed beech wood and have natural bristles made from multi-boiled pig bristles. The toothbrushes are produced in Germany and are available in different sizes for children (14cm) and adults (16.5cm). The bristles are 1 cm long and divided into three rows. Sustainability and compostability Our wooden toothbrushes are made by hand from untreated beech wood and are fitted exclusively with multi-boiled pig bristles. The toothbrush is fully compostable, making it an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional plastic toothbrushes. Soft bristles for gentle cleaning The pig bristles are comparable to a soft bristle mixture and are therefore suitable for gentle cleaning of the teeth and gums. The toothbrush is suitable for daily use and ensures thorough cleaning. Sustainability and environmental protection We use local types of wood such as beech or oak, as the carbon footprint of bamboo is many times worse due to heavy oil container ship transportation to Germany. We want to do our part to protect the environment and therefore offer sustainable alternatives to plastic toothbrushes. Dimensions and care instructions The wooden toothbrush measures approx. 14 cm for children and 16.5 cm for adults. The bristles are 1 cm long and divided into three rows. Care Instructions for Wooden Products

Cleaning

Never clean wooden products in the dishwasher. The combination of heat, moisture, and detergents can permanently damage the wood. Instead, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and a little mild dish soap. Dry thoroughly with a clean towel immediately afterward.

Drying

Do not leave wooden products wet or place them on a heat source. Always let them air dry while standing upright. This helps prevent warping or cracking.

Oiling

To keep the surface smooth and resilient, we recommend treating the wood regularly with a natural oil – such as cold-pressed linseed oil. The oil protects against moisture, enhances the wood grain, and gives it a warm appearance.

Apply the oil sparingly to the clean, dry surface using a soft cloth. Wipe off any excess after about 15 minutes and allow it to dry completely – ideally overnight.

Important Notes

Avoid soaking in water for extended periods.
Keep away from direct heat or sunlight.
Oiled wood may darken slightly over time – this is a natural process.
