Kids Breakfast Board – Construction Site with Diggers to Color In

This eco-friendly kids breakfast board is made from FSC®-certified alder wood and crafted from a single piece – without any glue or bonding. Its dimensions are approximately 22.5 x 12.5 x 1.2 cm, making it the perfect size for small builders at the breakfast table.

The eye-catcher is the construction site motif featuring diggers, created using pure heat without any harmful chemicals. Children can color the detailed construction scene with regular kids’ crayons – ideally those that comply with DIN EN 71 safety standards.

Once colored, the surface can be sealed with linseed oil or walnut oil to preserve the artwork. Of course, the board is also fully usable without coloring and adds a natural, creative touch to any child’s mealtime.

Care instructions

To ensure the longevity of your chopping board, we recommend regular care. Clean it after use with warm water and mild washing-up liquid. Avoid soaking and dry the board immediately. Occasional treatment with cooking oil keeps the wood supple and protects it from drying out.

Care Instructions for Wooden Products

To ensure lasting enjoyment of our high-quality wooden items, we recommend regular and gentle care. Wood is a natural material – each piece is unique – and deserves special attention in daily use.

Cleaning

Never clean wooden products in the dishwasher. The combination of heat, moisture, and detergents can permanently damage the wood. Instead, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and a little mild dish soap. Dry thoroughly with a clean towel immediately afterward.

Drying

Do not leave wooden products wet or place them on a heat source. Always let them air dry while standing upright. This helps prevent warping or cracking.

Oiling

To keep the surface smooth and resilient, we recommend treating the wood regularly with a natural oil – such as cold-pressed linseed oil. The oil protects against moisture, enhances the wood grain, and gives it a warm appearance.

Apply the oil sparingly to the clean, dry surface using a soft cloth. Wipe off any excess after about 15 minutes and allow it to dry completely – ideally overnight.

Avoid soaking in water for extended periods.
Keep away from direct heat or sunlight.
Oiled wood may darken slightly over time – this is a natural process.
