Sustainable Kids Breakfast Board – Traffic Theme to Color In
This charming kids breakfast board made from FSC®-certified alder wood combines sustainability with creativity. Crafted from a single piece of solid wood – with no glue or bonding – it measures approximately 22.5 x 12.5 x 1.2 cm.
The highlight is the traffic-themed woodburn design featuring trucks, cyclists, pedestrians and animals – created using pure heat without harmful substances. Children can color in the illustration using regular kids’ crayons or markers. For safety, we recommend checking for DIN EN 71 certification, which most coloring tools already meet.
After coloring, the surface can be sealed with a light coat of linseed or walnut oil to preserve the design. Of course, the board can also be used as-is, offering a long-lasting, healthy and playful breakfast experience for children.

Care instructions
To ensure the longevity of your chopping board, we recommend regular care. Clean it after use with warm water and mild washing-up liquid. Avoid soaking and dry the board immediately. Occasional treatment with cooking oil keeps the wood supple and protects it from drying out.

Care Instructions for Wooden Products

Cleaning
Never clean wooden products in the dishwasher. The combination of heat, moisture, and detergents can permanently damage the wood. Instead, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and a little mild dish soap. Dry thoroughly with a clean towel immediately afterward.
Drying
Do not leave wooden products wet or place them on a heat source. Always let them air dry while standing upright. This helps prevent warping or cracking.
Oiling
To keep the surface smooth and resilient, we recommend treating the wood regularly with a natural oil – such as cold-pressed linseed oil. The oil protects against moisture, enhances the wood grain, and gives it a warm appearance.
Apply the oil sparingly to the clean, dry surface using a soft cloth. Wipe off any excess after about 15 minutes and allow it to dry completely – ideally overnight.
